Rivendell Developments was established in 2005 by Sarah Staley (British) and Zdravko Gitsov (Bulgarian) as a property business working in the areas around Borovets and Veliko Tarnovo; buying, selling and sourcing Bulgarian property, renovating Bulgarian property and assisting clients with the various bureacratic processes linked to these activities.

Rivendell property management has been formed as a result of the apparent and growing need for a Bulgarian management service particularly as the Borovets area opens up as an increasingly popular tourist destination. The service caters for both Bulgarian apartments and houses within the Borovets area.

Owning a Bulgarian property  and ensuring the property is looked after and or ready for guests can be extremely time consuming and a worry. We aim to provide tailor made and standard packages depending on your needs. To allow you to have a comprehensive Bulgarian property management service for your house or apartment what ever the circumstances. We are very happy to help out with mundane everyday tasks which have to be done that can be very time consuming for someone not familiar with the local area or services.

I (Sarah Staley) have a varied background having lived and studied in a number of countries and have now lived in Bulgaria for the last 3 years. I can speak good Bulgarian which is very useful and have lots of experience of sorting things out within the Bulgarian system. Before coming to Bulgaria I worked in the charitable sector managing childrens' projects in the UK.

 Zdravko Gitsov has worked in a number of areas including as a semi profesional mountaineer and climber and as a security specialist for COT in Sofia. Zdravko has a large number of contacts and experience in the building trade.
